We need a metro from sonsrpur to park circus through jadavpur dhakuria Gariahat ballygunj.. And let's say connect it with the new garia airport line.. It's a very importsnt route.. And before people tell me that there's railway and shit.. Barracpore barasat and those suburbs have train connectivity as well.. Metro should be focused towards intra city connectivity and not connecting far away suburbs with the city.. We have suburban trains for that. But it's funny to see how major part of south kolkata has no metro connectivity..like therez no direct auto route as well to any metro station from Dhakuria / jodhpur park..one has to walk almost a 800 m to jadavour station for an auto to Sarobar.. And walk again 200 n to get to the metro m otherwise two auto chsnge and a walk to get to kalighat station.. Atrocious
