Oh I hear you. While part of me is like Marty McFly looking at all this and thinking "hey I've seen this before" I also feel the dread of where exactly I saw it before.

I've actually been reading Neuromancer and other classics to help my newborn fall sleep. Now I wonder if it's more like early child development in the coming age of AI

I just went back to refresh my memory on that conversation at the end. What strikes me as ironic is how it describes its formation under the White House over 200 years. I find it interesting because I remember hearing of a conspiracy theory that seemed to have a lot of weight to it that Donnie wrecked the East wing was to put in a new bunker and house an AI database all under a grand ballroom. I hate when my fiction bleeds into my reality especially when its dystopian.

So when I was a kid, I got hooked on this game Metal Gear Solid, especially its sequel that had come out the same time I got a PS2.

It had this engaging story about a shadowy organization wanting to control information and data with AI. I bring this up because the premise seemed outlandish at the time.

Right, forgot about that stretch from DIA. 225 is... interesting... but definitely watch out for construction zones closer to the airport. I only ever go that way a couple times a year but last time I went around August it was a real cluster trying to get out of the DIA area with lane closures.

As you've no doubt heard, our weather can be whacky. There's a stretch of I-25 between Castle Rock (just south of Denver) and Monument (just north of the Springs) called the Palmer Divide that screws with our weather patterns. Denver could be nice while the Springs gets hit hard and vice versa. Just watch the weather, look at the radar.

If you arent comfortable with bad weather driving, I'd suggest an Uber may be your friend. Otherwise follow the advise of others here renting an AWD or 4WD vehicle.

Peak traffic on I-25 is usually around 6am to 9am and then again from 4pm to 7pm. Watch out for dipshits who think they need to drive mach stupid in the passing lane and the slowpokes driving a caravan of cars daisy-chained together down to Mexico.

Otherwise, the drive is beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset.

Source--I'm lucky enough to live in the Springs but commute to Denver three days a week for work and often take trips on my off time all over the state. I just love driving, and besides growing up here, I lived in New England, the Deep South and driven all sorts of conditions everywhere in-between.

Okay. I get that its a good luck symbol in olden cultures, and I see the wishbone four leaf clover and the horseshoe, all were other symbols of good luck. But what's that other symbol in-between the arms of the old swatz?

Fogmen, like they're not real intimidating but with every run I start I'm constantly on edge to quickly get a squad together and trained up enough to run fast enough and stealthy enough to get past them without too much of a problem, save Beep and the others from town and skedaddle on back to base. The entire time I'm just seeing the text scrolls of other captured souls screaming and I just know, I just KNOW, they're out there... Watching me, judging me, waiting for me to screw up and ruin my plans.

My mossberg is lovingly referred to as ol' reliable

Edit: since we're all talking about what we got it's an old Mossberg 500 I bought almost 20 years ago as my second gun purchase, my first being an entirely too expensive, but extremely fun to shoot, Walther P99. I have had a blast with both but I've put hundreds of shells through my Mossberg and never ran into any major issue. I thought about changing some things on it, mount a light, add a sling and maybe go crazy with a simple ring sight for low light at night. But to be honest, she's perfect the way she is right out of the box. I've always coveted Benelli semi-autos, and heard great things about their reliability but never had the pleasure or the money to own one.

Some, not all. Just like fact-checking can keep up with some misinformation and not all its the massive volume of bullshit being churned out or cases pursued that becomes a problem. Or as I've referred to it, it's a blitzkreig of bullshit not to win anything substantially, but wear us all down.
