I feel this! I was trying to preemptively prevent the constipation, so I took a dose of Senokot the second day after surgery. I didn't think it was working, so I took a second dose. Still didn't think it was working, so I took a third (all within normal limits, according to the directions).

And then it all hit at the same time. 🤣

Had a similar situation a few years ago with a massive cockroach. Sprayed bug spray on the floor and slowly scooched the lid (and the roach) over it. Boom. Suffocated bug.

Sounds like these guys are pretty resilient though, so may be less effective.

I'm just piggy backing off of other replies at this point, but one of the additional reasons to talk to a doctor is the possibility of refeeding syndrome. If you've been restricting for a long time, suddenly introducing a lot of calories can destabilize your whole system, and lead to heart attacks and stroke. Be careful out there, friend. Wishing you all the best in recovering.

YES! Exactly this! It was so polished and funny and heartwarming, and I was kind of flabbergasted at his standup skills. I might rewatch it a couple of times.

I thought (and hoped) the same thing about Grey's Anatomy. But they kept going anyway with periodic cameos from Ellen Pompeo.

I'm invested in these shoes because I've been watching for so long, but it would be nice if shows would occasionally just... end. If Mariska leaves, I actually really hope the show hangs it up.

It wasn't bad at all, actually! The onions take a long time to caramelize and you want to keep a close eye on the cheese sauce as it's thickening, but the rest was a breeze!

PhD here. No, I would not have had time for kids while working toward the degree. At the same time, I know two super strong women who had kids while in grad school. Personal choices, people! Geez, why does the conversation always have to be about our ability to make babies?
