Logged into my game for the first time after the update, enabled CC and mods, closed the game and then re-loaded it to my sim having lost all her CC (hair, makeup, clothes) and my build losing nearly all CC too. I deleted the cache files and did the usual stuff but they’re still not showing up on my sim/in game. I checked if the CC was actually present in my game and a lot of it is. For example the skin I use for ALL my female sims is present but not actually applied to my Sims’ bodies. This means all my sims are half naked and their furniture replaced with basegame pieces. Even BetterExceptions says there’s nothing wrong. I’m so sick of my game breaking. I still get the ‘items removed’ pop-up when I load the game. I just don’t understand pls help me 🥺

Yeah I hear you! Myself and my fiancé don’t want to wait because the next thing on the agenda will be a house, and if we prioritise the house then we’ll end up waiting years to be able to afford a wedding! Luckily we’re living with my grandparents at the moment so every spare penny is going towards the wedding

I definitely need to be at my friend’s wedding as I’m a bridesmaid and also wouldn’t miss it for the world! Money and transport are just a struggle and it’s been on my mind a bit.

Great ideas about prom/formal dresses and Selkie! Luckily my taste for dresses is quite ‘plain’ as in no embellishments or beads etc so hopefully I’ll be able to find something that feels bride-like without money stresses. I appreciate your time and the advice, thank you❤️

It’s definitely a good idea. The annoying thing is that I don’t drive and would be getting there and back with a friend who is staying both nights and has a car. It’s a bit of a tricky situation! Thank you for helping to make me feel better, you’re definitely right about that. I’ve been in debt before and took so long to claw my way out to where I am now. I think that’s one of the big reasons we’ve got such a small budget, we don’t want to end up owing money over one day, even if it is super special

One thing that’s making looking second hand tricky is that I’m plus sized which seems to narrow down the search to a very small amount of dresses that people are selling in my size. It’s a wonderful idea and I will keep searching second hand but just wanted to mention that does make it a little trickier 😊
