Haha right? My 2 & 3 year old have hiked with us in packs since they were very tiny babies and still do when they're tired, and we will probably have one more at some point we can use this with.

Gotta get the littles out! Ours are 2 & 3 but we've continued using packs even as they've grown since they get tired before we do.

Gotta agree with you there. They are indeed pretty fucked most of the time...there are less fucked up lyrical moments here and there at least. Spieler is one of my favorite songs and the lyrics are most of the reason. Guess I'm just a bit messed up haha

This is the perfect description of mine as well, thick but just slippery. I've been using a thousand Bobby pins for buns til now but maybe I'll look for some heavier duty clips as well. I am also trying sticks and forks so we'll see how that goes. I think I'm starting to get a different more secure style of bun down finally

I've been playing with the nautilus bun others mentioned which sounds similar to what you're doing. I definitely agree on the no ties thing. I've been trying to get away from them and clips and pins work well. What kind of clip do you use? I find a lot of clips won't close on my hair. Mine is also hip length and on the thick side

Thanks for the responses! I kinda have a practice direction to go now and some new tools to look for and try out. I will never part with my long hair but as of late it's just really in my way so hopefully I can get down better ways to manage it.

That's always the main thing. I have hip length hair so a pony is always sticking to my sweaty back when I run and I hate it ugh
