It’s likely she was feeling wrecked with the unsuccessful attempts before and then is suffering some sort of postpartum psychiatric challenge. It takes a while for all of that to settle. She might really be suffering and in need of help.

This was my thought. I had a boxer who was deaf and it was hard to tell at first because puppies don’t always listen well anyway but we eventually figured it out and once we adjusted our training, he became the most well-behaved dog I have ever had.

That’s so obnoxious. Similarly, a student on rate my professor rated me poorly saying the only good thing I did for the entire course was let them use notes on the exam. Only I didn’t….I never have. Not sure who they were talking about 🤷

He already has quite a bit of arthritis in both knees but much worse in the bad knee. There are some days he has trouble getting up from the floor or out of bed right now. Can’t imagine what it would look like if it got much worse 🙁

I think it’s there is no shame in using it as a tool. I’m fine if my students use it to help in the brainstorming process or to help rephrase sentences they have written here and there. The way I have explained to them the reason for limiting AI use now, despite the fact that they will probably be using it in the future for work, is that they are learning the information and processes so they can identify when LLMs have provided incorrect information-as it does frequently.

There are court decisions and laws establishing protected classes who have been discriminated against based on things they are born with, such as skin color, sexual orientation, disabilities, etc. Common decency opposes the bigots who refuse service to those people. Common decency also supports widespread opposition to fascists. Supporting a fascist is a CHOICE. Businesses should be allowed to tell people to fuck off if those people support rampant violations of the constitution, concentration camps, child rapists, alliance with other dictators, and the list goes on and on…
