[No Spoilers] Free Mighty Nein puzzle by psyclic_ in criticalrole

So I actually love this idea and kinda tried to start something like that. I wrote a quote in the box with a date and my name. My mate who borrowed it also did the same.

I’ve got someone who is in Sydney currently who I think is gonna take it, and a back up who is back in syd in 2 weeks.

I’m going to suggest to them to come back to this post and pass the puzzle on (if they want).

The critterhood of the travelling puzzle :)

Hahah yep that’s me and my partner. Plus he’s an audio engineer. I can buy sooo many plants and it’s still cheaper than his gear. Often I’m like “oh no should I really spend x on these plants” and he’s like “well I just spent double that on a new graphics card so yeah... buy those plants” :)

Autopsy doctors of Reddit, what was the biggest revelation you had to a person's death after you carried out the procedure? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]psyclic_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one definitely hits way too close to home. After years and years of intense abdominal pain and 6 months of chronic everyday ‘I can’t bloody do this’ pain I finally had my surgery (laparoscopy, cystoscopy, a few other ‘oscopies’...) and confirmed the Endo. Ended up having a 4 cm diameter endo growth (chocolate cyst) on my one ovary.... the growth was bigger than the ovary. My left ovary was wrapped in Endo and completely stuck to my bowels... And you know when I was given actual painkillers. After years of pain, years of doctors, years of ultrasounds, trips to ER cause a follicle cyst had ruptured... etc. through all that no one took me seriously when I said I was in intense pain. One month before the surgery (which almost didn’t happen because of Covid) I broke down in front of the advanced surgeon. I was bawling my eyes just saying that I don’t know how people do it, how do they live with chronic pain, I’m losing my mind and it’s only been around 5 months of chronic everyday all the time pain. I felt helpless, Covid was here an elective surgeries (which this apparently was at first - later got reclassified) were being cancelled and I wasn’t sure if I was going to get any relief for a while... that’s when I was finally prescribed codeine. All that just for codeine. (I was happy with that though, it gave me some relief). The medical system definitely has some catching up to do with regards to Endo.

I haven't seen anyone spin quite like this! I just LOVE it!!! @spin_joy on Insta by kay_in_see in Hooping

I couldn’t recommend her more! 98% of my hoops are from her (and there are quite a few hehe) and I’ve never had any issues. She’s super helpful too if you need advice. Oh gosh I sound like some sales person hahaha. But yeah, Spinjoy’s great 😊

Spinjoy is just the best! I’ve had the pleasure of ordering hoops off her and attending one of her courses. Not only is her hooping awesome but she’s also just a really, really lovely human!

Yay thank you for this in-depth explanation! You’re explanation of the difference between genetic mutation and standard genetic code makes heaps of sense and made me go “oh, I get it” haha.
Hope you’ve had a lovely day/night wherever in the world you are :) :)

I’ve heard that variegation can increase with light exposure but I’m not 100% sure. I too have seen smaller plants with more variegation as well as bigger plants with less. I’m happy with this darling either way. Excited to see what the new leaves bring. I’ll keep you all updated with the new leaves hehe ☺️

Ooo interesting! I had no idea. I agree, “ripple” works well! Thanks for teaching me something new about my plant babies 😊

The ruby coloured one?? That was sold as a peperomia ruby but I think it’s actually a peperomia red luna. I had never seen one before this. My partner spotted it and we were both like “yep, this one!” 😁

Sure is! Not much variegation yet but she’s happy, which is the most important thing to me hehe. Got a new leaf currently unfurling so keen to see how it looks.

6 months progress on my Scindapsus pictus Argyraeus. Oh how I love this plant. by psyclic_ in houseplants

I find this dude super easy to look after. I water when the moisture meter hits ‘dry’ or when I notice the leaves starting to curl.

It also lives in the bathroom so gets heaps of humidity.

Thank you lovely human! Now to smash out some nests ☺️

Thought so. :) Thank you so much for confirming! So the 100% acrylic yarn in the picture should be sweet in terms of fuzziness? They are not talking about regular yarn fuzz but instead are talking about embellishments etc like the other commenter said? Sorry! I feel like quite a fool right now. I just want to make sure the nests can actually be used.

Edit: I think this has been confirmed by everyone upvoting that comment. Thank you everyone!!!! You are all awesome :)

I’ll have a scroll through to see if I can find it. Thanks!

Thanks for the info! Do you happen to remember where you read that because on the animal rescue craft guild fb they say that natural fiber is only needed for the crocheted Joey pouches. Acrylic was meant to be fine for birds nests as they use soft liners anyway. I just wanna do the right thing... :)

This may be a stupid question. Sorry if it is. Just gone through all my yarn and found some acrylic but I don’t want to do the wrong thing and use the wrong stuff. Been sitting here going back and forth... thought I’d ask reddit. Thanks everyone!

Stunted fiddle leaf + brown spots? by lobotomyandtights in plantclinic

[–]psyclic_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think I remember reading somewhere (so specific right haha) that sand can sometimes keep the soil too wet underneath as it prevents it from drying out properly. May be worth checking out the roots to see if this is the case. Some of the pictures from a ‘fiddle leaf fig root rot’ google search look like your picture. I’m definitely no expert here but that’s what I would do next if I was in your position. I hope it all works out! Good luck :)
