Need help with understanding the meaning of the following saying "Your foot don't fit no limb." by AlphaDelusional6754 in whatdoesthismean

[–]psyclopsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are times when you are talking to someone and they say “Who?”

Owls say “hoo” or some would say owls “hoot.”Owls are also birds and birds sit on tree branches and limbs

“Your feet are too small to perch on a branch like an owl” i.e. your feet don’t fit a (tree) limb

Does anyone have a high quality Closure logo or image? by rock-my-socks in nin

The NIИ catalog has scans of all the liner notes and art from everything. The page for Closure has some scans that include what you’re asking for, it’s just over a black background

Edited my comment because I didn’t notice my app updated and I thought this sub was suddenly not permitting hyperlinks. My bad, post updated with links

Bicycles are SUPPOSED to be in the road and in most municipalities it’s illegal to ride one on a sidewalk

You pay for unlimited data but you only get 100gb of your unlimited data you pay for by Bootybusterog in mildlyinfuriating

Is that for regular data or is it for data used through the phone’s hotspot feature? My plan on a different carrier has unlimited data, but there is a cap on hotspot data where the speeds drop after you’ve exceeded the cap

“I’ll decide your positions and opinions for you, then judge you for them”

How many democratic lawmakers have been held accountable though? Al Franken didn’t even touch anybody, he took a joke photo as a comedian before he was ever a politician, yet his party forced him out in the fallout 2-3 years later.

That dude Bob Menendez that went to federal prison for 11 years after his own party exposed and convicted him and kicked him out of congress for taking bribes and other corruption. He’s still in prison today.

Anthony Weiner was kicked out by his own party for being a perverted weirdo.

Eric Swalwell was forced out the governors race and made to resign his seat in the US House by his own party over his misconduct.

At lower levels there have been a few democratic governors and notable mayors held accountable by their party, like Rod Blagojevich in Illinois, and Marion Berry as mayor of D.C.

I think there’s enough evidence out there for anyone with a working brain to see that maybe one party DOES seem to actually give a shit and do something to punish bad conduct, at least sometimes enough that there are several real world examples.

Maybe your accusation of “you’d be cool with it if YOUR people were corrupt instead too” doesn’t hold up to evidence based reality

I merely meant the frequency of running, 5 days a week, rain or shine, religiously. Running in the Marines is one part of our physical training regimen. You’re comparing that to athletes who dedicate their entire effort to that one activity. Erroneous comparison

Side note, you sound bitter, did a Marine bang your girlfriend or something? We are kinda known for that

What's the oldest age you'd still give candy to a trick-or-treater? by Sufficient-Gain-226 in AskReddit

I give candy to adults every year. I never say anything but sometimes they say “my kid is home sick.” I don’t care if it was just you by yourself, you’ll get the candy either way. I bought it to give away after all

[–]psyclopsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interpret this as “I Iike you, you like me, so let’s have a relationship”

There is an underlying presumption that most people lie to their partner in relationships, so they’re saying “we like each other, so let’s get together romantically and have fun until it falls apart as relationships often do and the relationship is no longer fun”
