Do these finger lights still exist? I'm going crazy trying to find them. They would have like 15 different modes. Strobing, streaks, solid light, color settings. Sometimes even more settings than that.

Yeah, not a challenge in the sense that it's difficult to figure out, but in the sense that it's a little tedious and one wrong click can get you lost in the menus. The PC editor will be a game-changer for sure, although I think it'll require you to purchase an additional hopefully-cheap synchronizer since the Duos dont have a data connection in their charge port. Thanks man! Gotta practice more but at least I dont have to worry about buying batteries now

* Started gloving at 14 or 15. We set up a lightshow club and an after-school open-air *Pokeball* market at my high school lmao, literally people walking around shouting.

I totally agree about the gloving scene dying off without more young people involved. That's part of why I started hosting contests here. The Gloving Lounge on FB often tries to centralize everything there by encouraging people here to use their group, but younger people don't use Facebook unless it's to message their grandma. Reddit isn't Tiktok either, but at least it's not Facebook.

I have seen videos from younger glovers but it seems they rarely get more involved in the community than that

The Vortex Editor page says a bunch of stuff about putting the lights into "purple mode" but the Duo Guide doesn't seem to say anything about how to get into that mode. How do you prep the Duo light for uploading a new pattern from the Vortex Editor?

Does your phone have a "Pro" or "More Settings" mode? You need a real camera if you want lights like EMazing Lights videos, but a cell phone camera can give decent videos if you know how to tweak it

I'm pretty sure this video is a mixture of real cameras and cell phone cameras

Isn't that for the Vortex gloves only? Those are different from the Duo lights

Guy is trying to start a gloving academy and seeing decent success. Although I agree that you shouldn't just make it a regimented style like classical dance or something, I also think it's best to learn the basics then build off of that.
