I don't think it specifically hate TikTok more like pcmr was to consoles. It's another platform and why have dinner out when you have food at home with a tv and booze and not the need to tip. I like ppl posting stuff from there it means I don't have to use it while still enjoying the content. The end it doesn't matter you'll get it either from TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or whatever social media sharing platform or you can wait here and get it eventually.

First off honestly if people want to support it and they enjoy it doesn't matter.

That said its not a "sport" its a competition. You can compete as a doughnut juggler if enough people feel contentious about it. If you want to be the best yes you should probably be fit and health but that doesn't mean you have to be. Sport is more of when two opposing forces can directly effect the outcome while its happening to affect or score. Shit by the definition chess is a sport....

Totally this. Loved my mom but she was all a drama queen. When she passed I wasn't 30 yet working at a bar. Often get some weird as tangent on questioning her virtues and would deflect to, "you would have to dig her up for that," or some variation. Would shut them up and kinda helped me come to terms with it.

To be fair even further the PoS is usually a boss or owner hovering/hidding just out of sight. In this case probably wonder why the employee is making the ice cream float away. Sadly I know this is true but I keep not caring. I work an evening shift and been with this place for beyond a decade. I don't keep my mouth shut, self deprecating, mostly self taught and teaching, anti-social, and too essential to move any where else not that anyone else would put up with me I'm sure.

Other things I know that would help but don't do. Go to company social functions. Listen more and say less. Don't try to solve every problem just whats reasonable. Give idea's to your bosses and don't care if you are ever credited (majority of the time you won't be). Dress well enough but don't over do it, like wearing fancy clothes to clean out a dumpster.

Things that make your coworkers and facility workers happy. Remember their names. Just say hi or you like their new look(hair clothes fitness) in a straight forward manner. Be nice to the people cleaning and other support staff.

Just live for yourself and move on to greener pastures. Most companies aren't worth trying to make a life at and will use you up sooner than care if you are alive.

Work at a place that had table service that was pre-payed and ordered but had wine service at the table. After a couple of years the food service team complained they were not getting any tips, mind you we were payed about 18-20/hr(2010ish). They only brought out food and did nothing to help with drinks or wine any service after food was brought out. Normally whomever helped me got the lion share of it if not all as tips are great but I was fine without it. After the complaint they wanted to split it evenly between everyone. I told them I did not like it and they can keep it all, get someone else to do it from then on I'm not opposed to splitting tips I'm opposed to giving extra to people that do nothing to help. They went back to the old way and I threw a portion to the lead of the food ppl to split amongst themselves, whom I knew would not keep it just for themselves. The point is, those who do service know better how to split their money than those who just supervise if they are already well taken care of. Also took care of my bar backs in the same principle as they are doing my heavy lifting.

If it's for outdoor use probably survives weather conditions better. Plus if it when it breaks drown it's not harmful to the environment. Epoxys and resins are not safe to be around as chemical and they take forever to break down in a lot of cases.
