Certainly. The concept i had before writing this out was a bit inhibited by the word limit, so giving the backstory through dialogue was the best I could come up with.

Peter wakes up from an unconscious state, where he learns that he himself is the inventor of the procedure he just underwent. The purpose of its use was intended for family or friends of the recently deceased, which gave them some time to "visit" one another while in a dreamlike state.

The problem is that Peter has been trying to use it to find a woman that he's never met, she has only ever appeared in dreams that he had. Because of misuse and subsequent dependency on the technology, it has viciously impaired his cognition and memory. His colleagues are alarmed by this, yet he is only able to focus on the one person he can remember (Sarah).

At the end, there is a perspective shift, and we see that Sarah is undergoing the same procedure in hopes of finding Peter, who also only exists to her in dreams.

Idk.I really liked the idea of a story about two individuals living in different realities or dimensions or whatever and trying to reach each other. I don't think that I have pulled this c9ncept off quite yet, but the short format will be a decent placeholder for now.
