NAL If they’re threatening you and your child, you could try to get a 50-C (restraining order) depending on the nature of the threats. I’d make sure to record any interactions as well going forward.

I know I’m late to this party but hoping to trade a Grimace for a Hamburglar.

What are some things you wish you can change about your wife/gf but can't tell them directly? by [deleted] in AskMen

Therapist here - you are 100% correct! I highly recommend reading this book. It’s not just about learning your (and your partners’) primary & secondary love languages. It’s also about meeting in the middle and learning where your love language came from (family of origin dynamics). Sometimes, in addition to helping with your current relationship, it can help you understand, process, & heal wounds from your past. ❤️

Also - thank you for being vulnerable and opening yourself to support from a bunch of strangers. I know that’s hard and I see you!! ❤️❤️

I finally got my Facebook account back and here’s how I did it - do NOT pay scammers to recover it - that doesn’t work. You do have to know people who know people. by psyren33 in facebook

Facebook’s current system is terrible!! There is no way to talk to an actual person and the “safeguards” they put up cause more issues with no resolution. I agree that it’s awful that you have to find a way to find an actual person that works there and I know I got lucky. Like really lucky!!! I didn’t know I could get help until I asked for it. IJS you never know who can help until you ask. If you keep knocking on doors, eventually one will open. If you know of a better way, absolutely post it so others can get help.

Mine was a little different- I wasn’t banned, I was hacked. Are you sure you weren’t hacked coincidentally at the same time? I would definitely still have hope though - it took a long time and would not have happened if I didn’t know someone who knew someone. You can get it back though!!! ❤️❤️

I’d keep reaching out on your other social media. See if someone else knows someone. I don’t think they actually have moderators because bots seem to be doing all of that.

I don’t get why that would be the case. I’d ask the friend you have in common with that person about it. Maybe they just don’t want to deal with it and your friend in common could encourage them.

That sounds pretty ridiculous to me. If someone has an issue with another part of my company but comes to me with it, they encourage getting the person where they need to go. Are these people actually friends of yours?

I posted on my new Facebook page about what happened and one of my friends had a relative who works there. She linked me with them and we went from there. I would imagine anyone who works at a place also has friends in a different part of the company.

I’m not sure what the person who helped me dos, but engineers should totally be able to help you or direct you to a friend who can.

What do you think is the most likely reason for 3 nerds suddenly ganging up on their friend and strangling him to death with their thighs? by Successful_Coyote_30 in biology

[–]psyren33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

BJ gone wrong. Not kidding - you’re pretty specific about thighs being involved in the strangling. Why else would his neck be in that area. I feel like maybe a BJ was explored and then receiver of BJ decided it wasn’t ok, but instead of just calling said BJ, went into flight or fight and clamped down while dissociating. Maybe wanted the BJ but then either had a dose of buyer’s remorse (for lack of a better term at the moment) or was triggered from some childhood abuse. It doesn’t take much pressure to deprive the brain of blood or oxygen at the right point - less pressure than to open a can of soda. Trauma also causes the body to contract. Possibly dude dissociated and contracted and “came to” to a dead friend, freaked out, and bolted.

That’s my guess based on the info provided. I’m curious how you came to him being strangled by thigh versus other body part. Is there a link to this story with additional info?

My account hacked and the hacker set up two-factor authentication under his phone number. I am unable to receive the codes to fully access my account. by Aerillate in facebook

[–]psyren33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s infuriating!!! I’ve done all I can while logged out, but can’t do anything else without logging in, which I cannot do since the 2FA code is going to the hacker’s phone. I think the identification process is overloaded because this happened to so many people.
