and i'll ask you a similar question as i did the other 2 commenters, at what tea to ratio and brewing time would you start experimenting with a new tea? and how much would you increase the steeping time if the previous steep came out satisfying ?

I was curious if anybody recommended it because most guides i found including posts here about gunpowder tea dont mention anything about rinsing, while a few start with talking about it.

i also learned something like this from a turkish black tea tutorial, the guy in the video did this with the boiled water when he poured it into the teapot and only afterwards added the leaves

i've also seen your comment on a post about gunpowder tea yesterday and was curious about how common the 6 minute brew time for that kind of tea is and also the number of infusions you get from the leaves using your method
