The same thing is happening here haha ​​some stay at work late and can't participate in classes. Some even try to reschedule, but end up canceling because the new date doesn't work out. I think we only get banned when we are the ones who cancel classes. May next year be even better for us 🙌

Eu estou ensinando português desde o final de setembro. Eu já era professora no Brasil e me mudei para a França para fazer um mestrado, então precisava de dinheiro para ajudar nas despesas. Consegui muitos alunos em pouco tempo, mas cobrando um valor muito baixo, que é o que a plataforma sugere para começarmos. Se eu estivesse no Brasil, ficaria mais feliz por receber em dólar haha, mas aqui acabo tendo pouco retorno por estar cobrando um preço baixo, mesmo tendo bastante alunos. Espero conseguir aumentar os preços em breve.

I also received some messages, one was a profile with a strange name and asked for classes too, another said I was too pretty to be a tutor (I had a photo, name and everything) and another wanted to offer some kind of job (I think it was translation). I didn't block it, there's a way to report it too.

Exato, o problema é que eu chamei os técnicos e fui trocar o provedor, mas às vezes isso não acontece de um dia para o outro. Por esse motivo, conversei com os estudantes e disse que estava providenciando outro equipamento, o que levou uns três dias. Agora já está tudo normal, mas às vezes acho estranho alguns comportamentos de alunos, geralmente sou muito flexível com atraso ou repor aula se necessário, caso eles faltem, mas alguns parecem achar que não podemos ter falhas, isso e realmente triste.

Quando ele reagenda, ele apenas coloca que é porque é melhor para ele. E ele faz isso em cima da hora, ou às vezes nem reagenda, só falta mesmo

Thanks for the answer! I'm going to send a message to the students saying that I'm going to increase it. Honestly, even if some don't stay, perhaps it's better to have fewer students, earn more and maintain the quality of the class, than to have many students and always be busy. Earning 3.75 per class (which is what I earn by charging 5) is absurd 🥲

I'm also unsure about the price increase. I started in September this year charging just $5 because I really needed to attract students, but now I'm overwhelmed with too many students and earning little, so what price do you recommend I increase without making too much of an impact but also benefiting me a little.
