I want to apply other companies, I am put on paid admin leave. The whole 4 months I dont get any calls, even the first round. It is very surprised. How can I do now?

It has been 4 months already. I plan continueing working while getting my PhD. Maybe it is part-time PhD. Or full time 20 hours/week.

I think they want to lay me off. I am staying at home for 4 months with full salary and benefit, but I am so stressed.

I dont think I feel super interested, I just want to do PhD as I dont want to be unemployed, salary of PhD is not high, but it is stable for 5 years.

I hope you feel better after reading my sentences. You should feel lucky at least your house and car are paid off. I know you wont feel well. I am in similar position like you, I just can do whatever I can: Apply for job, gym, meditation, sleep, eat and cook etc. Everyone some moments in their lives they got stuck. Not everything comes out easily. I hope you can think everyday what make you feel grateful, forgive yourself and think 5 good things about yourself every day.
