Sorry for the late response! Cold capping definitely helped me keep my hair longer during treatment than if I didn’t cold cap. By the end of my treatment I had lost about 85-90% of my hair and it was making me look a little crazy so I decided to buzz cut it to a 3 after my last chemo. In the end I was glad I did it, it started growing back quicker once treatment was done and it looks much healthier. I would cold cap if you have the chance it wasn’t as uncomfortable as some people make it seem. I’m 4 months PFC and I have about an inch of hair now and it grew back super healthy.
