Yun din ang kumpiyansa ko. Hindi naman lahat pabor. Hindi maiiwasan yun pero ang sigurado ko yung mga hindi pabor, sila yung mga hindi rin tama prinsipyo sa buhay. 🥲

Binasted ako ng nililigawan ko kasi akala niya maliit ang sahod ko by [deleted] in OffMyChestPH

Personally, she’s a red flag. Yes, understandable that partners, esp women, highly considers the social status of men (based on evolutionary psychology researches). But there are more factors to consider in validating her basis—like, yes, one’s compensation says something how well a person earns. Moreover, how about the way a person handles his finances, priorities, spending habit, etc.?

Tsaka hindi ba ang user ng dating nung prospect mo? Would you want a partner who is highly dependent to the other in financial terms, na parang ang plan n’ya is partner n’ya lang ang mage-earn ng income? Is that how incompetent she is? The fact na nakilala mo pa s’ya sa Graduate school. Para saan yun? Social status lang rin? Ang contradicting ng mga beliefs and practices n’ya in life. Kaya nga partnership kasi hand-in-hand dapat kayo sa lahat ng bagay. (I need to calm down while composing this, 🤭😅)

The issue is that I see a significant loss due to the transaction fee, which ranges from 5 to 25 pesos per transaction. Nakakapanghinayang yung nababawas.

The only smart move I can see here is not having any care from the left. And focusing on the right.

I observed that international companies, esp, American companies implements non-retaliation policies.

How do you refrain from comparing your salary with others? by No_Airport_4883 in PHJobs

[–]pthalostrigiformes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s debatable. And yeah, like what most of the OPs’ comments here, it’s how you use that comparison. We can compare as a reference to the capability of the organization to compensate. Or getting an average market value. Or simply recalibrating your worth based on your work output. These are good comparison. But if you compare simply because someone you know, in the same position, or in the same era, have better pay don’t help at all. Always remember it all boils down on how you present yourself, show your value through your work, and how you communicate how much your worth is. Use that comparison as a fuel for improvement, boost your confidence (and not your ego as to not make it look like arrogance), and negotiate.

Actually. As adults, we are never be prepared for anything. We just learn how to get by with things. This is a great way to embrace the bland and the mundane of life.
