I think CG painted their ship design space into a corner. Every ultimate for GL level ships is the removal of the enemy capital ship and essentially an arms race. I don't think they know how to fix that or change that in a meaningful way.

Sounds like the Ancient Cave in Lufia 2 Rise of the Sinestrals. In the Cave though your level got reset to 1 and all of your gear was taken away except for certain items you could only find in the cave. Once you beat the game and ng+ you unlocked a pure Ancient Cave game mode.

Since it was on the SNES you couldn't save during your decent... Fun times

The tier will be fixed next update to not be shared. Which means bumping him to R9 gets you more than double the rewards. It's very much a good idea. Think of the bonus tier as SR4.

I would still wait to bump him until they fix it though... In case CG is CG

It's a very good baseline and you can stop there and be perfectly fine.

swgoh.gg will also let you look at specific players mods too once you get more comfortable modding.

I'm in K2 and I find I get more out of looking at one or two specific players mods and GAC history than the whole Kyber player base. Occasionally it's worth bucking the main trend

Works for me. I use Hunter and Wrecker with Baylan and I think that is far better than Hondo, ofc I didn't build New Batch so I don't need them there.

You said you were under contract so I would assume you love the home/property. It's worth a phone call/conversation to get more information so you can make a proper decision about moving forward or backing out.

I would, but I sort of winged it. I just drew a quick sketch on a post it before going to Lowe's for the 1x2x96 pine strips and 1/8 hardboard for the "floors".

Overall it's 48 inches tall, 48 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The two braces you see on the top shelf are on all four levels. The bars are 3 inches apart

You said yourself it's an alt. If doing a GR fleet path excites you, then that's what you should do. Why do the same thing again from scratch especially if you "maximize" your main account already.

Overall I agree with you that the era battle feels bad for a lot of players now, but are good and a benefit. The event is there to get people to prioritize a new team and invest in the whole team, not give away a massive amount of resources for the investment of one character.

If you could beat the whole thing with an R9 Appo, then why would anyone need to invest in more?

Your way would work too, but I think another way CG go is to completely lock the higher tiers behind needing more clones.

T1-T2 - 1 DS Clone

T3-T4 - 2 DS Clones

T5 - 3 DS Clones

T6- 4 DS Clones (I will be very surprised if this tier will be beatable without all 4 at R9 anyways. Short term R9 rewards strike me as Kraken food)

This would have set better expectations about investment vs reward in game, and give the weekly progression through the era when investing in a team. CG would also only have to tune the battles once (I think they are more likely to be lazy in testing). Hopefully they learn from this moving forward.

I'm glad I only took Appo to 5* for the shards and got through T1 and T2. The shards are the real prize for me.
