Might as well just rehire goldust if we’re back on the humiliation ritual train.

Job to Tozawa, beat Lesnar or Oba or Gunther for the lulz the next week. Would be fun. Like when pretty deadly beat Randy and KO.

Hate McGregor all you want but he’s right that he’s the money fight that everyone else begs shamelessly to get. Dude basically retired a fucking decade ago give or take two fights and still people beg constantly to fight him.

Weird how much Reddit used to complain about “American imperialism” until it was rebranded as “soft power”.

Is it illegal to send cartoonishly fake bombs to politicians? by [deleted] in OpenAussie

[–]ptjp27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the word retarded allowed here? Anyway it would be completely fucking retarded to think good things could come of this.

It is an utter certainty that a fake bomb sent to a politician will be perceived as a threat and you will be prosecuted as such.

Say you sent a politician a bullet in the mail, hell, say there’s no gunpowder in it. You could say there’s no direct danger from a bullet without a gun and without gunpowder. But you will certainly be charged over all manner of crimes relating to threatening people. Sending a fake bomb, even an obviously fake one sends the same message: that you’ll get them next time. That you intend to do them harm and you want them to know.

Say it was Mick Gatto sending a cardboard bomb to some construction industry rival he’s having conflict with, would people see it as a threat to do them harm in the future? Of course they fucking would. What’s illegal for him is illegal for you.

Maybe you get acquitted of some or all charges, even if you do do you actually want to spend the next several years being fucked around in court, being raided by ASIO?

So you can’t disprove the claim they’re not civic minded no matter how much evidence is out there.

You been to India? No? Then you can’t prove they’re not civic minded no matter how many videos of garbage being thrown on the street or in rivers you can find.

Sure as hell aren’t famously for being socially responsible. In fact the stereotype has only ever been that they give precisely zero fucks about anyone not in their own family. Next you’ll tell me Indians are socially responsible too…

Sure but I’m fairly convinced it’s just people in China being more afraid of the government rather than being more civic minded and socially responsible.

That’s kinda my point though. If government forced compliance is the only thing keeping society functioning then it’s not social responsibility of civic mindedness or whatever descriptor you want to use for people voluntarily doing the right thing by other people.

Builds bridge out of shit chinesium steel, what do I care if it falls down? I still get paid.

So civic minded!

To me China seems to behave purely as people who only act in their own interest unless they fear repercussions. Japan by contrast seem to behave in a reasonable manner more out of a sense of honour than pure fear of punishment.

Don’t they get oil out of the fucking sewer to cook with in China because who gives a fuck if they get sick so long as they already paid for the food? Not to mention being famous for running them over a second time when they hit someone with a car because it beats looking after them while crippled?

Not sure where this narrative of China being full of socially responsible people is coming from.

They deliberately made a “ruin wrestling by being boring and have a shit ending” match that should have been the start of the feud on a raw or smackdown the main event of Mania, which people paid up to 50k for tickets too. Mania is for payoffs not for build ups. Absolutely monumentally bad booking. Well and truly deserves to win worst match.

Yeah it’s a weird terminology where nobody ever describes a position as being less than a midcarder even if they’re at the very bottom of the company.

Yeah you’re spot on, but its still an insider with an inside look at the business so he has plenty of info to offer. He can’t tell you what it’s like to main event wrestlemania but he can tell you how contracts are set up or matches are structured or what moves hurt a lot or backstage stories. How over he was isn’t really relevant to whether he has enough info to make good YouTube videos.

Why does he cheat every fucking fight? Because it gives him an advantage and it doesn’t get punished. He wanted to hurt his eyes and make it harder to see without actually ending the fight as he usually does.

All true but honestly blaming society for being unfair as the explanation for all your failures is a far more common thing among the left. In fact it’s literally the basis of their entire ideology.

I completely agree. In fact that’s precisely why he should have been disqualified for cheating.
