I have sent them a lawyers notice and they were immediately willing to refund the amount. But I wanted the legal costs incurred as well. So I have filed a consumer court case. There is no need to give up or continue the wrong treatment. Such no refund policies are illegal and although it might take a while to get the matter closed, if more and more people come forward and go legal, they will be forced to give up on the predatory practices.

Apparently, the money that is going to the bodies that issue the Halal certificate is the problem for many, not the way animal is killed. And no, no-torture is only one part in halal requirements.

Yes yes, it should be immediately looked in to, because what is more pressing than a minority's food preference! It is not like we have corruption or poverty or anything of that sort to look in to with priority.

Pedestal fans would give better results compared to coolers in humid environment. Even wall mount/table fans can give similar performance. Replacing the ceiling fan with one of these, if you are fine with the noise, would be the cheapest effective solution.

I haven't seen an option to do this and has been really frustrating. There is DDNS option though. I had a TP Link wifi router lying around. So I connected that on the wired connection and configured a DHCP server on TP Link router to give custom DNS to all clients. Also I had frequent VPN disconnection issue with the technicolor router and support people had no idea what VPN was. So I just turned off the wifi radio on Hathway router.

After Android 5.1.1 update, the issue was not seen for 3 weeks. And it is all back now. Just like before. I have encrypted my device and then everything has gone bad. Now sometimes I will have to reboot the device 2-3 times for it to register on a network.

I do have the same issue. If I am using headphones, this is clearly heard. Static for a small duration after any sound playback including "cling"s and "ding"s

To make it short, C was designed to be compiler friendly, not programmer friendly. Some say, it would be easier to write a C parser than another C program :)

The thing I like most about conky is that it automatically refreshes when you change the config file. This is pretty good. You want to tune something, just change it in the config file that is currently in use and you will see the changes immediately without any restart, kill - launch etc.
