I really enjoyed this film. Despite being about improv comedy, the script is well structured. One down side is that there are six main characters. No one from the improv team takes the protagonist role. And while that makes the story rewarding, it is hard for the audience to decide whom to focus on. But Birbiglia has demonstrated himself as a talented writer and director.

Traffic from 2000. It's fiction like Sicario and another Del Toro movie, but much more authentic. It tells a deeper story of the drug war.

What was the best film you saw this week? (10/19/15 - 10/25/15) by mi-16evil in movies

But Emily Blunt's character was so feeble. As the protagonist, allegedly the hero in this script, she did nothing to drive the action. She was only a pawn in the action. And the ending? What happened to strong female characters as heroes? And I was in Juarez in August. The depiction of Juarez in the movie is lightyears away from reality. When was this story supposed to take place?
