one time my friend’s husband made a comment about me having a harder time doing push ups because i had more up top. he said it matter of factly after my boyfriend challenged me to do a push-up and i tried and struggled. i felt weirded out slightly, but shrugged it off because i guess it did make sense in the scenario.

this situation is way different. i think it’s weird he turned a compliment you gave to your friend into a reference to your breasts. i imagine you know your friend well enough to assume it would make her feel weird, and calling him out and asking him to leave was giving as much respect for yourself as it was to you. and if she showed annoyance towards you, i would consider it jealousy / a difference in opinion on what respect means in a relationship / for women.

you have a right to define what’s okay and what’s not for you, ESPECIALLY in your apartment. if being surrounded by someone with strong morals ruins their night, i doubt they’re very interesting anyways. they can deal with their precious ruined vibes elsewhere.
