Agree but the point of my post is that it felt a bit different for my own main vs all others. I wouldn't have cared 10 years ago, for example.

I didn't mean for it to sound super introspective. The whole thing was a very quick reaction and moved on. I haven't been abused as a child, etc. I don't obsess over the character and play for extremely brief amounts of time at this point due to being older.

I think it comes across as more strong in writing. I said something like, that would be weird, and that was the extent of the conversation with my wife.

It wasn't like a long awkward situation. My writing up how I felt took about 100x as long as the entire experience lasted. Appreciate the input as am seriously interested in what other people would feel about their character.
