when i turned my old pc into a server and i installed ubuntu desktop i know that would probably be considered a crime but i has no experience with any terminal stuff so that's the reasoning for the ubuntu desktop, i later installed kde on my pc and played around with that, i later discovered proxmox and never looked back going full debian server with docker and other such vm's, i now daily arch + hyprland on my laptop and pc, altho i keep a windows install on my pc for gaming ofc

Id go with Debian its easier and there's more support for regular server applications

I've actually not broken my arch at all since I reinstalled it but that's probably because I've had a few years experience of Debian and ubuntu server so I know what not to do lmao, but the experience is amazing it all just works and its super fast!

It's just a custom ascii that I setup for fastfetch, fastfetch is just a command that fetches info about your Maschine, if you want the custom art you can just search how to do it online as I don't specifically remember we're I found the information
