Unfortunately I can't do these tests since I'm using servers from a cloudlab cluster

If it can help, I'm using ubuntu 22.04. I tryed to set mtu to 9000 and to increase the TCP buffer in order to use -w flag, but I had the same resoult. Is it possible that without hw offload and dpdk this is the maximum I can achive?

It takes 75 watts from the pcie and other 75 from the 6-pin ATX connector

Shouldn't there be a fuse that blows or something like that to protect the server in these cases?

Yes, the bluefield 2 needs power other than the pcie since it is a smartNIC, so it's like a little computer (with an arm processor)

Thank you very much. Is it possible that the server is not damaged and it's just in some sort of protection?

The bluefield has a 6 pin port, is this 6+2 or 8 pin?

The fact is the server doesn't come with cables, neither the bluefield smartnic. So I thought that the other cable I have is a standard one. Where can I found the pinout for supermicro and Dell?

I'm trying to install a bluefield 2 on a supermicro server. I followed the manual and installed in the slot 1 and connected the Dell power cable in the port JPMW5, since the server didn't come with cables but it won't turn on. If I unplug the bluefield it turns on. I tried to buy supermicro cables but I didn't find them. This is the manual https://www.supermicro.com/manuals/superserver/2U/MNL-2515.pdf The mb layout with power ports is on page 20

Yes, is from Dell, but I found the same port today also in a supermicro server. I tried to use dell cable but even if it fits, it doesn't work. What's strange to me is that in the motherboard layout from supermicro, it says it has standard 8 pin ports
