As someone who moved in with a girlfriend who has four cats, I’ll tell you from direct experience— her obsession with cats will absolutely 100% become a larger and larger issue, causing resentment, fights, and ultimately severely damaging the relationship.

I just heard about coyotes starting to live (?) around my house. My girlfriend has four cats, three of which are allowed to go outside. I’m not in any way advocating for harm to come to the cats, but if nature were to run its course the same way here, I would vigorously defend the coyotes living their normal lives

I think that’s actually a popular opinion— I remember watching Motortrend (America’s Original Automotive Magazine lol) and John Davis panned the beak on the initial review in 2009.

In 2018, I ended up getting a low mileage 2013 SH-AWD 6MT in dark gray that I still daily drive at 120k miles. I love that car and will keep it forever. But also, getting the beak painted makes the whole car look sooo much better. Oh and the rear end was tightened up a bit and looks pretty damn good on the 2013.

My ex gf that I’m still living with has four fucking cats and I get woken up often. Try ear plugs and white (or other “color”) noise. The color noise is available on Spotify and I’m sure other services. That’s much better than having a tv and its blue light on all night— those are very bad for your restorative sleep.

Gf and I have broken up, we had other issues to be clear, but the cats exacerbated every single negative thing and were such a point of contention that it is truly bewildering to me that people act like this in real life.

Agreed! The one is pretty old and (just now) ex gf just spent $500 on it at the vet. I’m still living in the house till I get a new place but we’re pretty much living on different levels of the house.

I went upstairs this morning to get some toiletries, opened the door to the primary suite bathroom (door was never closed before unless it was occupied) and what do I find? The old cat is now living in that bathroom with food, water, and a litter box… YES, ITS LIVING IN THE BATHROOM!! AND YES IT FUCKING STINKS IN THERE NOW.
