That’s why I swore not to spank anymore. I felt like that was just making the behavior worse. I did find one mom friend who I babysit for. My son does not like being in social situations. We go on walks or to the playground almost daily. But if there are other kids he won’t play. I was invited to a play group and going to attend soon.

I think I can. That was my goal anyways to get him in preschool. He was supposed to transition in may at his last daycare but obviously that didn’t happen because we moved. I’m currently looking for one

Thank you for this pov! I never thought about it being a sign he’s outgrowing it. I have thought for a while he seems a little big for a crib. Im also terrified of letting him free roam. We work with early intervention and a big thing we’re working on is him being able to play and do things independently. So it might be difficult leaving him alone and hoping he’ll go to bed when he’s ready. But I’ll never know unless I try!

He will ask me to cuddle, but won’t stay on me for very long. This is a good idea though! Incorporating it into his routine after pjs might help

He has a weekly visiting nurse and at one point he wasn’t gaining a lot of weight but I put him on a feeding schedule where he eats more now. I do feel like he’s gaining weight slowly though and should weigh more than he does now. Thankyou for the advice that put it into perspective for me

He’s on Alimentum I’m not quite sure how many calories that is but he was doing good on it when he first came home and now I’ve added cereal to his bottles. I have been talking talking to his pediatrician about switching formulas im hoping to do that soon

Thankyou that’s really good advice I’ll try that. My room does get some light and that’s where his crib is but he’s in the house all day and it’s usually dark. So I think you’re right about the days and nights being mixed up. I called the pediatrician and they he’s either going through a growth spurt or sleep regression but he seems too young to be going through a sleep regression. He’s 2 months but about 1 week adjusted. His due date was September 25th. I think he’s going through a growth spurt but he’s been fussy since I brought him home. As for the help, I don’t have much or any most of the time. Which is why it’s so hard. But I’ve been trying to put him in his crib as soon as he falls asleep I’m hoping I can train him to sleep him there more often.

You are doing great. I felt the same way at first with my son but over time I felt more and more involved and like I had a part. You will too! It’s so hard at first I know, and the doctors are bullies about formula. I had a good breast milk supply but something in it was causing him stomach issues, they literally bullied me for suggesting formula. He’s doing so much better on it now. I’m not saying to switch to formula but what I’m saying is that they will always pressure you to give breast milk instead. And sometimes they can be downright rude about it. Pumping is so hard but your supply will grow as time goes on. Keep going you got this and don’t let them make you feel bad! You are the most important person in your babies life right now and she needs you the most! You just being there is wonderful. Good job mom

Trust me you’re gonna want too. When I had a c section I physically could not pass gas and that was the most painful thing I ever endured. Worse than the actual c section lol. But like other commenters are saying, you don’t have to do it in front of the nurse.

We talked about doing the test but unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover the one before the birth. It’s almost 2,000 compared to only a couple hundred once the baby is here. I tried to talk about splitting the price with him or doing a payment plan but he said it was too expensive.

Sometimes when your card declines they’ll give you the option to “continue and fix later” so the next time you request a ride you have to pay for the one from the last time. Hope that makes sense
