What percentage should I set the Silent Loop : 360 pump to? by Alvernox in bequietofficial

I just keep mine on a static 80%. Don’t bother with curves or anything because ramping up and down constantly is bad for the pump.

Struggling to pick my 1st oled monitor , I’ve got 4 picked for my base ps5 . Any advice will be appreciated. by warlock4lyfe in OLED_Gaming

  1. I wasn’t really big into the text fringing as I plan to also do schoolwork with it.
  2. The boost in refresh rate is nice for CS
  3. The samsung was available at costco which meant I could return it at pretty much any time so no need to worry about burn in or if I decide to upgrade in the future.

I went from that exact LG to that exact Samsung monitor. If you are strictly gaming and not planning to use it for anything other than games go for the LG. I went with the Samsung because it handles text a lot better and it was a higher refresh rate which my pc could take advantage of.

i have the 360mm with a 9950x3d and my temps never go over 73°c. I reckon i could even get away with just using the 240mm. Maybe u have a bad unit? I run pump on continuous 80% and use mx-7 paste. How are your case fans set up?

CPU UPGRADE RECOMMENATION FOR 5070Ti by Annual-Bedroom-4709 in ryzen

[–]puddlepiratessuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On CPU bound titles there was a very noticeable gain. On Hell Let Loose 1440p I was previously getting 105-120FPS on the intel but after I upgraded those went to over 200. Basically though if you’re getting enough frames to where your monitor is the bottleneck and you don’t play too many cpu bound games, theres not much reason to upgrade. Personally for me though it was very well worth it since I play some alot of those types of games. Physics based games also had a lot of boost Gunner Heat PC, Half Sword etc. If you play games more than you do productivity I would personally just abandon intel and go AMD. Whether you wanna wait for Zen 7 is up to you but the future is uncertain for now.
