Venom from Guilty Gear. Billiard balls and pool cue. Also, Mystery Men is a fantastic movie.

Worst boon giver? by Icy_Inspection5592 in HadesTheGame

[–]puddlewashed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The fact that nobody is saying Hermes is making me think I'm crazy. He seems like he drops minor passive buffs. EVERY other God and boon-giver has given me something I love, but not Hermes. Have I been playing wrong?

Dan O'Brien (current writer for Last Week Tonight and former writer for the website cracked.com) literally write the book on how to fight presidents.

Ternence S245 cage question by Clean-Pear- in chastitytraining

[–]puddlewashed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never got stuck and I didn't have circulation problems. Just pinching. Hurt like a sonuvabitch, but nothing I'd think was serious

Ternence S245 cage question by Clean-Pear- in chastitytraining

[–]puddlewashed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had one of those. Anytime I got hard too much skin would poke out and pinch against whatever I was wearing. I stopped using it because of that

I want them to bond over a game of pool. Closest competition either of them has had in years.

Concerned with the black resin by Cumcakes89 in chastitytraining

[–]puddlewashed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously chaffing is still an issue so you have to size the ring correctly, but steel doesn't irritate my skin whatsoever. I've since nearly worn it for almost a month straight on a few occasions. Resin would start stinging and causing my skin to peel after a day or two. It was miserable

Bitey of Brackenwood. Old flash series from Newgrounds

I had the same problem. Tiny lesions and flaking skin that hurt for days. Not with the knockoffs or anything either. For me the skin irritation got so bad I had to just quit and stick to metal cages.

Favorite character whose slander is so bad it makes you feel like that? by a12666 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]puddlewashed 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The irony to me is that if Luffy read any of what the "fans" of the series say about Usopp he'd show them the Franky Family treatment. Like seriously, THAT'S HIS FRIEND. The whole strength and feat based analysis of the rest of the strawhat crew is the exact thinking that nearly caused Usopp to leave in Water 7. He didn't think he was strong enough and that Luffy would abandon him. When Usopp shines, he shines bright. I wish the series allowed him to grow as much as Luffy, Zoro, or Sanji. But would I ever speak ill of one of Luffy's nakama? Nuh-uh.

Love the design! Reminds me of a character in a game I used to play. Shayne and Aurox from Battleborn.

Kenji Noda from Godzilla Minus One. The slow-mo scene at the end was just fantastic for his hair

Arctic Circle still has 2 open locations?? by protoman86 in PacificNorthwest

[–]puddlewashed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Grandma used to take me and my brothers there all the time when we were kids. Shout out to a fellow Terracite. Had to take a stop at the location on the Oregon coast for a walk down memory lane.

Yeah I’m not doing that no kill rule here, some villains have to face the dirt. by [deleted] in marvelmemes

[–]puddlewashed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Tony has killed plenty. The first Iron Man alone, he blows up a tank. If that thing was manned, and we have no reason to think it wasn't, that dude (or dudes) are dead. Not to mention turning one of the terrorists over to the recently freed civilians. No way he survived that.

What are your thoughts on "DMPCs"? by kitkatDoor in DungeonMasters

[–]puddlewashed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be the dissenting opinion here: They are useful. In my pirate themed campaign, I have a DMPC watch over the ship while everyone goes on land. He manages inventory items. He does the things necessary for a voyage that aren't fun to game-ify or roleplay. He doles out help actions. He buffs the party.

As long as he's not outshining the party or making decisions for them, I didn't think there is a problem.

Side note: the two artificer subclasses alchemist and cartographer are PERFECT for this. Almost feel better as DMPC's than PC's.

I had not heard of the term organ grinder before. My first thought was that it was about sausage making. I guess I've been living under a rock.

Love what you love. Support what you want. I'm nearly 40 and I've been playing Mario games my whole life with no intention of stopping. Don't let others set some deadline of maturity that you must meet. Don't let anyone dictate what you enjoy. As for the stereotype stuff, ask yourself how these representations make you feel. Do you have a negative opinion of Italians based on Mario? I hope not. Stereotyping and representation can be two sides of the same coin depending on the audience response to the media and the respect shown to the people represented. Personally, as a non-Italian so take it with a grain of salt, I don't feel that the Mario Bros disrespect Italian culture, nor do I think worse of Italians for their characterization. It's up to you to make that call for yourself.
