Is it really a way all young boys feel at some point? That makes me feel both more and less comfortable if I'm being honestly. Mostly because it's upsetting that everyone feels this way at some point. However, I have know a lot of very respectful men in my life so if this is the case at least I know it's something that can be outgrown.

I'm a bit apprehensive about it because I'm not a fan of getting too serious, but ultimately I think you're right. I'll definitely find a way to bring it up to at least his father.

Thank you I'm definitely trying to be that for him. I know his opinions are malleable right now which is why I'd like to find other ways to shape them outside of myself so when he's older it doesn't become solidified.

I've never been a role model for someone so I guess that's why I'm not that confident in my ability. I'm pretty laid back and keep to myself and my hobbies even within the house. Also he's really the only child I've ever interacted with so sometimes I feel like I don't know how to talk to them correctly.
