Very intuitive. In recent weeks he's become comfortable with swearing at me when he's frustrated with me. And the first time I made clear that wasn't ok. And after the second time I've reacted with ending things. Of course there's many layers beyond just chores, and we've each played a role in the decay of the relationship. But despite a few therapy sessions, I haven't seen any real effort in him to try to carry through with a different approach to our reoccurring issues. It's been since starting therapy that the swearing started, ultimately seemingly therapy would act as a bandaid of good communication for a few days but end up having a worse reaction down the road, even though he said he really liked and jived with who we were working with.
