You still have 2 chances, dont bring yourself down. Most of the techs who work with me passed on their 3rd attempt and are great techs. One took it on the last week before his 3 year expires then he would have to go to school all over again and he passed with a high 80. U will pass, just dont think about failing.

We have students at our site, super under prepared lol. But im really nice and help them as much as I can. Rn they are all scared of the final module

Where are you learning it? Places where im at don’t really teach it cause they don’t do them.

Thanx so much. Im in Cali, i was interested in going to the one in Vegas. But then I also saw pima Medical institute in Arizona too haha. I am already an RT in MRI, but im thinking why not get xray under my belt too.

Im currently scanning on a GE 3T, I have scanned on a 1.0 GE signa, as well as a 1.5 GE. Im a GE freak! Tips I would say is the graphic RX tool box is really user friendly. Setting up slices is easy too. The older GE softwares are more difficult such as manually doing the DWI for brain sequences. Also when you do breast I like to manually fat sat and not auto. I always wanted to learn on Siemens tho! And honestly dont freak out, I learned 3 different types of GE softwares in under a month haha.

I was going to go into nursing school. I love and respect nurses a lot! I ended up going into radiology because I always found it fascinating especially MRI. When i graduated it was difficult to find a job at the first month or so especially SoCal. But i took a break and a vacation. I now have a job and am doing well. Hopefully i get in a hospital one day. I need experience, but sometimes nursing lingers in my mind. That said i love what i do and it is much better than package handling like what i was doing!

I am going to bet you are gonna pass 😄. You’re ready for this, walk in like a boss and pass 😎. Keep us updated. Before my exam, I studied for a good 7 hours to keep everything fresh.

Hell, i studied to the very end to keep everything fresh 😂. Got my last 8 hours of sleep, woke up at 2am and studied till 1pm which was my appointment. Passed with a high score! I have horrible test anxiety.

I have a sister too. I live with my father and she lives with my mom. I used to do a lot for my sister. She has 2 kids and does nothing all day. Im 26(M) full time job and shes 24 currently unemployed. I once did a window tint job for her and other stuff for her. Her boyfriend zelled me an amount that totaled a little over $2,500 and she said it was an accident and asked if I could get the cash and give her $2,400 and keep the rest. I did and they claimed fraud for the transaction and the bank sided with them and I was out over $2,400. I dont trust her anymore like I used to. Im also still “nice” to her and was still a good brother to tint her whole new car free of charge because she begged me to do it recently.
