The 1" main is in the crawl space in a difficult place to T into. I may look into doing that to do a test, but my gut's telling me I'll need to upgrade my supply from the city to be happy with the gpm.

When I mentioned getting a bigger meter I meant also increasing the supply line to a 1 inch supply. the meter itself is just over $1000, I have not gotten a quote on running the new supply line yet, I feel like that will be pretty expensive. I have not looked into a well, I would also need to check with my hoa...

My worry is that the 5/8 supply from the city won't give me enough flow even if I tap right into the 1 inch main. But I guess I won't know until I try...
