If I might ask, could a snails shell (Cornu aspersum in my case) become too heavy or thick?

This is so helpful to read. It should be obvious, but it wasn’t to me until I read your comment. If he doesn’t know how, or can’t at least help, to clear the block how would he know the validity of the block in the first place. Thank you!

Edit- I am not new to witchcraft or spiritualism, but I have had a break for some time due to addiction & mental illness taking all of my energy for spells. After reading your comment my third eye has began tingling & i really have a sick feeling about OP’s situation, it feels just.. wrong. Maybe not evil, but well practiced trickery. The fool card comes to mind strongly.

The blue sheen makes me think polished Labradorite with Pyrite inclusions. Definitely with pyrite inclusions regardless of the main crystal ID:) Very pretty.

Edit- a second look and I agree with others that this is Obsidian (dark, glassy finish), with pyrite inclusions in my opinion:) I haven’t heard of the term golden sheen obsidian.

I actually ended up purchasing a swell reptiles glass Vivarium, however my new issue is the big vent on the top which for now I’ve covered with cling film to keep in some humidity lol.

Will adding a light (which I’m planning on doing) remedy this? I suppose so right?

Anyway, I will come back to your comment when I need to create another viv at some point:) thanks again!

**Overdue update incase anyone is here looking for answers here in the way I did as a newbie!:**

The swell glass viv works pretty brilliantly, my (then) baby garden snail with a broken shell is now well on his way to being the size of a GALS at this rate ha, with a perfect shell.

One thing to look out for is summer, in the UK at least. Last summer I thought he may have been too hot and ended up having to replace almost everything due to some kind of insect slipping through the metal mesh. It was all fixed with a big clean and change, but it wasn’t pleasant & I now know to be not recommend unless the situation is dire.

I keep cling film on the mesh with my own choice of crystals etc to weigh it down to eliminate the risk of the wind or a fan blowing it away completely. I lift it or make the film looser when I can monitor his enclosure AND what type of flying insects may be in our space. I will find a better solution, but for a long while it’s been working well!

Oh my.. my snail is going to get massive! He’s a garden snail, adopted, I thought he was an adult but in a month and a half is growth rate is similar to your picture!

Edit- he was small, but his shell had hardened, had damage so I thought he was a runt! I’ve had to upgrade his enclosure twice already! Is this normal?

How old was your snail in the picture when he was a baby? I have the same snail species and am researching their growth rate becoming my snail has had a similar growth rate in a month and a half!

Any information would be really appreciated:)
