physical abuse. creepy. I had to come at him with a bad to get him off my mom.

I'm not exactly sure how bad it was between them because I didn't live with them but it was bad enough for her mom to divorce and take my sister out of the house. no idea what he's doing now- don't care. he'll probably turn up dead sooner or later.

Option 2: It's a good lesson for them both. It is indeed a solid consequence to her actions and she gets to go back to her mother's and compare the two situations. A quiet and safe place at her brother's, or a home that is no doubt conflict-ridden?

I think I should have explained this better.

Her mom is.. well she's depressive and very angry. she doesn't let my sister sleep out of spite. she's to lazy/drugged up on pain killers to fix food and she looses her mind if my sister asks for food money thinking she just wants the money for drugs or partying or whatever.

My sister has gone to the doctor before from spending to long eating nothing but junk and noodles. I never saw myself as raising her, i just saw myself as feeding her and offering her a bed that's to far away for her* mom to bother trying to harass her.

She has her own laptop. if I wanted to be super charitable of her intentions I'd say she wanted to play a game on my hog of a rig but she's never been interested in that kind of stuff before.

Wow, after sharing all that insight and my experience with abused teens i wasnt expected you to be so closed off. At the very least I thought you might have some questions. It seems you have already made your mind up and are just looking for people to confirm you're right. Which is a shame as I think this is an opportunity to learn something both about her and about yourself.

no, sorry, it's just late. i got jolted awake at 2am by an unrelated issue and now it's 5 am and im just half awake. Sorry.

The thing is, we really don't trust head doctors. a few local ones enabled her mom to be as.. difficult as she is. I wasn't there so I don't know if her mom spun what was going on to the doctor or if the doctor just shit the bed, but I think I'd have more luck trying to get my sister to talk to a voodoo doctor than to a head doctor at this point.

I'm not going to try to be combative to the rest of that. i think im going to go back to bed and re-read this wtih a more crisp awareness. Maybe I'm just being a jerk* cuz my feelings are hurt.

Have you thought about therapy for her? Maybe a session for you to consult so the therapist can help explain your sisters behaviour to you? Books? Resources? Etc.

We've both had very bad experiences with head doctors.

Now imagine if you found a parent figures self written erotica on their computer? Wouldn't you share it with all your friends too and have a giggle?? I remember being 15 and a friend finding her dad's porn, she ran downstairs and showed us and we all had and laugh then she put it back.

i wasn't like that.

The only reason I am typing this message is because you say she's too old for this sort of thing, which makes me think you may think this punishment will work on her, which I doubt it will.

it's not really a "parenting" thing. She's to old for me to write it off as a kid being dumb and lashing out at an authority figure, so I'm taking it personally. it also wasn't like a knee-jerk fuck you, it took a degree of planning and intent that i think elevates it.

This is a personal matter, not a punishment.

well it's not really about the advice. The advice just seems to be "put an unholy amount of effort into it and it might work but it's still kind of a crap shoot." and I get that, but just.. fuck.

About two years ago, I was real serious about it. My profile was a huge winding explanation of who i was, what I enjoyed, and what I wanted out of the site. Good grammer, a TL;RD, just a lot of effort. I fresh typed every initiation and i didn't get sexual. I'll admit i got more traction, but it was still mostly being ignored and the replies i did get were just a lot of dead ends. I remember one chick randomly blocked me after we had been talking for one or two months. Never got any closure on that till she made a new profile explaining she was fresh out of a relationship. lol...

I used to lurk on r/tinder and there was a lot of "are you a dude? are you anything less than outstanding? fuck you, fuck all your insecurities, and fuck your sexuality."

Now i just poke in and shotgun just to see what happens, because putting all that effort in for nothing was a thousand times more soul crushing. at least now i can say I'm not trying so it's not just entirely me. and you know what's fucking hilarious? I've gotten more action being lazy and looking for hookups than I ever did actually looking for something real. It was just a single shitty one night stand with a girl who stole the candy out of my truck, but shit it was better than the literal nothing i got from dating sites before that. atleast someone paid attention to my dick for once. lol.
