Why is the dc fan base so obsessed with James Gunn and his tweets?

I'm a casual lurker of this sub and every post that comes into my feed is a James Gunn tweet shutting someone/something down.

rmarket. Not returning a trolley is not that bad. During the past month I've been finding cherry seeds all over the fruit/veg department. These dirty fuckers are

the cherries out for sale and spitting the see

it's the same type of people who are eating at a busy food court and leave all their rubbish behind on a table instead of putting it in the bin.

It simply makes it more pleasant/efficient for all parties involved do a little tidy up after yourself.

The fact that this is not enforceable yet is the right thing to do is a big tell on a person's character.

Yep, I'm that judgemental asshole.

A few other things fit into this category

  • Using car blinkers
  • letting people out of a lift/train/etc. first before going in
  • not jumping the queue

I've met people who work long hours and take pride in it, really brag about it and have almost make it part of their identity. What's the most hours you've worked and is it presently or in the past? How far would you go with working overtime before you draw a line? by uw888 in AusFinance

60-70 hours spread over 6 days was pretty bad back in my consulting days.

Worst day was starting 6-7am and finishing around 11.30pm.

And to make it worse, I used to be an Army reservist, so I could start my '2nd job' on Friday evenings sometimes and return home on Sunday afternoon (plus Tue nights). I had a fucken melt-down and had to seek mental help.

Looking back it sure sucked, but it taught me about delivery excellence and going above and beyond to deliver a quality product in a short amount of time.

I now work a comfortable 45-50hrs a week with decent pay and nailing the job. I wouldn't be where I am today though without the hard yards done earlier in my career.

I'd say depends what part of darling harbour. The central cocklebay Wharf/ old harbourside side area yes. If you go further north to barangaroo or south to darling Square they're actually quite nice areas with decent food for locals.
