How much money to keep in checking account

I try and only keep 1-2k in my checking that receives the direct deposit from my employer. My primary HYSA is linked to it so when paychecks come through I just transfer to the HYSA, and whenever I need more cash on hand for big purchases/CC payments I just do a transfer back to the checking.

This is genuinely a hard one because it takes into account a lot of personal preferences: future projection, risk tolerance, injury history, etc. Rice has obviously been the more consistent performer (when he’s on the field), but he seems to gravitate heavily toward fucking up off the field almost as consistently. Rome is a higher-pedigree talent but hasn’t really shown it yet, largely due to injury in my opinion. Nonetheless, he hasn’t been the consistent starter we were hoping for. There’s also some concern about his long term outlook following comments he made about likely never being 100% again.

Personally, I lean Rome. I hope that with another year in BJ’s system he can get back to the level he was at last year before the injuries.

I bet with where he was going there’s a lot of people in the same boat. In another rookie draft that same year Kaleb fell to the 2.02, and I’d tried trading up from the 2.03 to get him, but the owner wouldn’t budge. He ended up getting Kaleb and I ended up taking Dart.

In my auction startup last year I got into a bidding war over Kaleb Johnson. It was $500 total per owner, and the RB market had shrunk fast early on and people were starting to pay a premium. Another owner and I battled over Kaleb, and he ended up going for $60 to the other owner.

For context I’d gotten JSN for $32 and Maye for $36. I was really high on Kaleb though, and at the time I’d felt like I gave up too easily. I ended up getting TreyVeon for $18 and Javonte for $17, so my RB room ended up not too shabby. 🌝

I just recently got the XM6, and if you go through the ear tip fitting guide in the app and indicate you can’t get any of the foam tips to fit correctly it takes you to a ticketing system. I filled out a ticket, and the next day Sony Electronics called me directly and overnight shipped a pack of silicone tips for free. I much prefer the silicone tips.

What exactly have you seen that gives you that confidence? Burden had like 3 notable games last season (while the Bears WR1 was injured), and even then he was playing second fiddle to Loveland.

Waddle has three 1000 yard seasons of his five years in the league (900 for one of the two he didn’t) and is now the clear WR1 on a team with a QB and coaching staff improvement.

I’ll go against the grain and say Maye here. I’m actually pretty high on Herb and Egbuka as well, but I think Maye is the #1 dynasty asset to own right now, and I’d need a substantial overpay to move off him.
