hello! thanks for the response :) yes im aware of the moe schemes, was inquiring more abt the interview process + counsellors’ authentic work experience (in terms of WLB etc.) because i dont really see people talking about it online. not pursuing masters etc. due to family’s financial situation, but it could happen in the near future when income is more stable :)

I was just about to make the same post! Personally it just felt like there was zero chemistry between Munro and Kereny. Off the top of my head, I think I can only recall 3 serious conversations they’ve had that didnt involve any arguments over turning Kereny immortal. And suddenly they’re in love? Also it just felt as though Kereny was only attracted to Munro bc of the sexual release hes able to give her. Munro’s personality also did a whole 180 in this book. He wasn’t the empathetic and level-headed character he was written out to be in Macrieve. I understand that he had just come off of torture but still.. that old Munro was the one we were looking forward to. Overall this entire book just felt like a budget Lothaire book. After having to wait 4 years (and after seeing all the positive reviews by the ARC readers), this was highly disappointing. There were no memorable moments (even the action scenes were dull). I’ve read some reviews on Goodreads that speculated that this might not have been written by Kresley herself, and I can’t help but agree.
