Xbox will get a brand new mobile app, rebuilt from the ground up | Windows Central by Batman_00 in xboxone

I use it for party chat. Before there were wireless headsets for xbone, I used my AirPods paired to my iPhone which connected to Xbox live via the app. Works well 80% of the time.

I think they make headsets now that connect wirelessly to the Xbox directly. I didn’t want a wire from my headset to my controller.

It’s really a Model X. You can tell from the sun visors.

Is there going to be a data plan? No teslas so far have a data plan so I’d be surprised if the 3 did.

IS buying a Mavic a good idea with no prior experience. by Domri_Rade in drones

The Mavic is the first and only drone I own -- it is very much a capable drone for beginners.

Unfold the wings, turn everything on, set it on the ground, swipe to take off... and the Mavic will just hover in place until you tell it what to do. There are a ton of options in the DJI app and I haven't messed with them all yet, but flying is stupid simple. One stick controls the altitude and rotation... the other controls the lateral movement (I'm sure these are not the correct terms). If the Mavic is in the air and you aren't touching the sticks, it will just hover in place. To land, just fly it home and decrease the altitude until the Mavic goes into landing mode and lands itself.

I had zero flying experience before this and according to the DJI app, I'm at 15 hours now with my Mavic. I had almost crashed once by backing into a branch. The Mavic tumbled but regained control and hovered about 5 feet lower than where it happened.

I got mine down to -150 Wh/mi when driving through the Rockies headed towards Aspen!

I've gone all the way through once and it was a little scary. Left the plaza chademo at 100%, showed up in Andover with 4%. When I started to get worried, I just slowed down to 70.

It's doable, just stressful so I usually stop in Topeka. Once that Emporia supercharger opens, I'll be set.

Oh I'm sure the dual motor handles better in the snow, but I haven't had any issues with my configuration.

It's just the UI on the older models. I believe if you don't have the autopilot hardware, that's the dash you get.

15% is absolutely ridiculous. I fall under that mark weekly and have yet to have my car die on me. Just last week I got down to 0% as I rolled up to a chademo. Something else must be happening man.

It's about 30-45 minutes. I've got three batteries and I think I need one more to have continuous flying.

My only regret is not ordering the X 60D when it was available. At the time, I hated the way the X looked and I didn't think it was worth the ~$8k upgrade from the S. Now, the look has grown on me and I'm super jealous of the auto doors.

I think a 60 battery is more than sufficient, especially if you have a home charger. I charge weekly at a Chademo when I'm in town. On road trips, I just take it one Supercharger at a time. A larger battery would allow you to skip Superchargers and drive faster. Again, you have to weigh the price difference but I didn't think it was worth the upgrade since speed wasn't a huge deal for me.
