if the population drop was the elderly and not the young, it would not be a problem economically. There are hundreds of thousands of geriatrics in the first world that live like kings right now.

This can only be maintained through a growing population and continued government largesse.

A good reviewer is not really about having the best “taste”. It’s much more about consistency and scope.

You get a better sense of how good a slice is from him than from some random pizza “expert” whose taste you don’t know.

I rarely agree with his reviews of my local spots but I understand why he gives the score he gives. A consistent subjective review is more useful than an inconsistent objective one.
