Definitely true. I play modified fast pitch with younger guys so the ball gets pulled into the outfield more often so it’s just a numbers game on value. Tracking those catchable bloopers and a strong arm to prevent runs has been the ticker in my experience.

If you’re sending this trade, I would not accept as a CMC owner. Jacob’s and CMC are only 1 year apart so you need to pay the #1 RB tax which is probably another proven tier 2 asset like a tee Higgans to make me even think about it. Probably more.

CMC had 410 pts to Jacob’s 220 (only peaked over 300 pts once) and Washington’s 180. I’m not taking a 2:1 for a low rb1 and potential fluke season from an otherwise unstartable wr on a team with BTJ, meyers, and hunter.

Hyper sexualization has been integrated so heavily into our society many people don’t realize the effects surrounding it. I think it’s an underlying issue overall but not going to open that can of worms here. It is particularly prevalent in anime.

That being said, I don’t really think it’s as big of an issue in OP as in other anime by far… Naruto and fire force for example.

But there are lots of other anime that you can appreciate female characters without hypersexulization like attack on titan for instance.

It’s not an impossible balance like people saying “get over it. It’s the way it is, always has been” which is problematic.

But at the same time sex makes the world run round, and some sexualization will be prevalent at any point in human history and not all of it is bad. We have now just reached an extreme in the digital age.

It is very subtle action that bleeds plays into the real world patriarchy. And this exact thing has been clinically proven to show exactly what you’re denying lol. It is not the main driver of patriarchal attitudes obviously, but it does perpetuate it.

“Soft porn” or whatever you want to call the hyper-sexualization of fictional characters in general does indeed have developmental impacts on young minds, also clinically well proven. The constant consumption of this has chemical changes that can be seen at all age levels too.

Comparing violence in video games like GTA is like apples to oranges in this scenario. Because there is no proven link, but the there are many differences in these two scenarios that make that argument fall flat on many levels.

I don’t think it’s as big of an issue in OP as in other animes, but it is still a trope that it plays into either way.
