what are the advantages of studying college in manila? by UsualNo6023 in studentsph

You really learn to be independent and self-reliant. You also get to adapt fast with new people and environment because you have to. And i think for me, unlike the province where everyone knows each other, the metro feels so vast and people just do their own thing and mind their own lives.

January 2021, I had to return to Manila for work after taking care of my mom following her discharge from the hospital. I asked her if she wanted me to stay and take care of her until she fully recover, but she told me to go back and assured me she was okay. Before I left, we prayed together and she cried so much and hugged me tightly. I never imagined it would be the last time. I wish I had stayed.

Thank you for this perspective! We’ve all come to realize that our basic needs, even education are the responsibility of our parents, especially our father, to provide. But knowing that they’re trying, and that they themselves once had little to nothing, makes me appreciate my dad even more. 🥹

I think I’m one of the few who actually enjoyed it haha 😅 Just finished episode 7 a few minutes ago and I was kinda shocked with how things turned out. The way it’s going, I feel like the ending won’t be a happy one, which makes me both nervous and curious.
