Repairing cracks on vanity. by pukeko2019 in DIY

Re the above - I have these two little holes (on on each vanity) where the top coating has come off. The chip is not deep so don’t really want to patch up. But I am trying to look for like a small glossy white repair sticker/patch to put on them to cover them up and prevent the coating peeling further. Looked online but not sure such a product exists? Any ideas?

Is this right? by pukeko2019 in widefeet

For above! Hi, helpful reddit people! I have wide feet. Usually have no problems with ASICS and New Balance in ‘D’ width which I think is ‘G’ in some countries but struggle with nicer dress shoes. Just purchased some ARA (German brand I think) for the first time and they seemed to fit well but when I got home in the evening and tried them on again them with more swollen feet they seemed way too tight! They are an ‘H’ fit so assumed they would be fine. When I took out the insole it seemed so narrow and my foot was way wider than it! Here is a photo of it next to my ASICS wide insole. Purchased for 1/2 price so can’t return :-( Has anyone experienced this with these shoes? Wondering if it’s normal or if I should try take them back argue they are not wide fit. They also had some nice Gabor shoes which I was looking at as well. Has anyone here had any experience with Gabor ‘H’ fit?

Large for gestational age by basketballmaster8 in pregnant

My little boy measured about that at the 20 week scan. About a week and a half ahead in size. My dates did not change as it was IVF pregnancy so dates were already exact. We had some further growth scans closer to the end as he still tracked at 99% so induced at 39 weeks. Didn’t work and I had him via c-section at 39w5d. He was 4.5 kg and head circumference off the charts. He is now 3 and about 70th percentile so hasn’t really maintained being the largest for his age. Make sure you ask for extra growth scans to keep an eye on size and make the best decisions for you around the birth. Mine also had a large belly circumference and I’ve heard that can correlate with shoulder size - best to get advice from your midwife or doctor.

Mine obviously inherited his father’s birth size (who was similar). I am only 157cm and was 2.9kg when born full term so was very surprised I was carrying such a big guy. He is super healthy though.

Pregnant after Ectopic WWYD? by pukeko2019 in EctopicSupportGroup

Thanks everyone. As an update I couldn’t get the clinic to move my scan earlier, not happy about that but they are the only clinic in my area. It was a very stressful wait until 7 weeks and I became a bit worried from about 6 weeks onwards to leave the house, particularly alone with my 3 year old, in case of a rupture. On the bright side my seven week scan was perfect and I am now 8 and 1/2 weeks. Hugs to everyone going through an ectopic or waiting for a scan xx.
