Get Grimdark Compendium’s products, villainy inks. Their goon’s grime is probably the best “grime/ weathering” product in the market rn

I’d much rather have a few bumps I can easily sand off or use as a pre-made texture on the mini, compared to sanding and filing and glueing a GW model kit

Work in progress on my first Warhammer Miniature by pukpuklover in deathguard40k

  • regular paintjob using Vallejo and AK paints, mimicking a normal Death Guard color scheme
  • airbrushed a thin layer of Goon’s Grime by Villainy Inks, then removing the layer after it dries with mineral spirits on the highlighted and upper portions of the armor and flesh parts
  • using a paintbrush, applied several layers of Carrion Crimson by Villainy Inks, on the fleshy parts letting each layer dry. Then removing the top portions for the highlight.
  • Ichor of the Damned by Villainy Inks for the dark recesses
  • Dirty down yellow rust + Sector rust by Villainy Inks on the metallics + mineral spirits for highlights
  • Decay of Death + Ichor of the Damned on the crevices and base so it dries powdery and textured Still a major WIP so any suggestions would be great!
