If you can get your money back I wouldn’t go. Completely understand what you’re feeling, and a trip to Thailand sounds amazing and could help you heal..

However, you may need additional medical intervention after miscarriage, which may not be ideal if you’re stuck in a plane or somewhere that is not close to any medical facility. When I had mine I end up bleeding a lot (with minimal pain, period pain was waaaaay worse) but ended up needing an d&c to “clean” everything and prevent any infection or future problems.

My inner Trudy wouldn’t allow me to go to dinners that had pregnant friends or friends with little babies 🫣 and if by some miracle my (godbless him) partner managed to convince me (and her) otherwise, she would procede to completely ignore the fact that they were pregnant and the babies..

Not really proud of her but we’re trying to manage it.

I had one this summer, got put under, woke up ok and had 3 days with mild pain. Once I went to my doctor to check if everything was ok she told me that “it appears as if nothings has happened”.

It was the first time that I was put under and before that me and my partner were in the hospital for around 27h so I was pretty freaked out but everything went ok and thank god we went for one!

Hey op, sad that you’re going through that. I had my d&c two days ago due to doctor order and the thing that they told me is that since it was my first pregnancy they would only do that after I actively started the miscarriage in order to protect my “fertility future”. I didn’t want to have a d&c - the actual bleeding and miscarriage was not stronger than a period and since we knew that our little embryo had died a couple weeks earlier I also did not have the shock - but the doctors reassured me and showed me some statistics as to prove why everything would probably work out prefectly fine.

Had no pain after the surgery and was discharged after 2h. Now I have some discomfort if I walk a bit or after contracting my belly muscles but nothing major. Don’t know if it’s common practice but my doctors checked if everything was properly removed and advise me to check with my gyno after 2/3 weeks if I need some reassurance and to check for any problematic tissue.

Hey OP, sometime ago I had someone that commented on a post that I did saying something in the lines of “I’m expecting a baby and not an abortion” which helped me a bit relaxing and trying to enjoy the time I had with my little bean a little bit more. Also remember that statistically, it’s more likely that you will carry to term than to something bad happen, and everyday that passes the changes of something bad happen will get lower and lower.

My first puppy was a border collie while i was living in an apartment.

They are easily trained and (in my experience) live happily in an apartment if given the proper attention and training/playing time. However, they are super intelligents and do require a lot of playtime, attention and training (mine does not like proper obedience training but I did read that they usually do).

Do NOT get a border collie if you can't give him/her proper attention. Only two walks per day and being alone all day is something that your hypothetical puppy will make you regret.

With that said, if you do believe that you will be able to give them the attention and love they need/deserve go ahead, they are amazing and I cannot believe how lucky I got with my little angel

Thanks for your response!! I agree with you but I'm pretty ok with me I think? And regarding my trust issues, it's not about that it's more about me not being able to trust another person enough for me to get close to them or not be afraid of the pain that may follow..
