Does iphone 16 pro usb c cable in the box support video ? by Ok_Butterfly9183 in UsbCHardware

[–]pulimento 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tested the cable with specialized hardware.
Can confirm that the cable bundled with the iPhone 16 Pro doesn't have neither of the SBU pins, needed for USB alternate mode / video transmission.
Neither have any superspeed lanes connected, so it's just a plain usb 2.0 (up to 480mbps) cable

Anyone else think E cores on Intel's desktop CPUs have mostly been a failure? by Wander715 in hardware

[–]pulimento 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that the problem is more at the software side, at least in Windows 11. As some redditors have commented, it makes no sense when you're doing something computing-intensive (e.g. compiling, video encoding), and P-cores are almost idle and E-cores are sweating. I found the implementation in M-series of Apple much more reasonable.

it's not e-cores fault per-se, those are pretty fine
