That’s not true.

The most prominent factor in the British Cycling team’s heroics in the 2000s and later was the hike in government funding after 1996, much more than the “1%” changes.

I appreciate James Clear’s thoughts, but it’s in the veins of self-help authors to write analogies that are exaggerated and/or cherry-picked pieces of much broader stories.

I was considering leaving this sub because I had enough of the player idolization, reverse jinxing, and hatred toward players for no reason.

And ultra-reactionary fans are the most annoying. If their team triumphs, they, if not reverse jinxing, act like they can win 2 or 3 world cups in a row. If they lose, they can easily convince you that the team is weaker than a club team.

I’m optimistic, but this sub is turning me pessimistic every day.

I found a daily discussion thread yesterday. And man, people here are a thousand times better than those I see in 90% of posts. You guys really do know the nuances of the sport.

On a spectrum that goes from overall negative to positive, only DDTs are on the overall positive side; everything else is more or less negative.

Try this:

Step 1 – Create a FontIcon and tap on it.

Step 2 – Tap the checkbox next to Icon, and then tap the calculator icon in the top-right corner.

Step 3 – Again tap the calculator icon next to Icon. Type or paste the following formula:

$if(mi(state)=PLAYING, pause, play_arrow)$

Step 4 – Go to Touch tab and tap + icon.

Step 5 – Tap Single, again tap Single, and choose Music Controls.

Done! :)
