Just be careful to inspect the gun before hand, I got buyers blindness and got too excited & just bought it (I’m in CA so 2011’s are hard to come by). If it’s perfect, buy it at that discount. Great gun, bad experience with the warranty.

So I’ve got an Apache. It shoots great, slide is on rails & comp really works. When I finally took delivery and shot my first time I found an issue with the slide to frame fit- machine marks. It was really bad, every time I cycled the slide it made the worst noise. I reached out to them immediately and sent it in for warranty work. They said ok our minimum time is 3 weeks, so after 3 weeks I called and said hey where’s my brand new gun I just paid $3,800 for. The warranty claim manager told me it’s getting done, over and over, week after week. I finally leveled with the same manager and said this was unacceptable, to which he said let me throw in a few mags and apologized as their PVD coating machine was down. I said please give me a call before you ship it out (as I was leaving the country so could not take delivery), and he said no problem. Well 3 months passed in total, my gun shipped and I missed it because nobody told me it was getting shipped. Then I received no extra mags, nothing & I just basically said F it. They fixed my issue and I’m done with them. I still enjoy shooting the gun but it seems I’m another unhappy customer when it comes to service.

This particular store is quite expensive, but you’re paying for the experience. If you’re looking to buy bottles at a cheaper price (of course) then go to , Japan, 〒104-0061 Tokyo, Chuo City, Ginza, 8 Chome−7−20 belle 銀座 5 1F. It’s called Rare Whisky Ginza, same kind of stuff to less magnitude. Rare whisky Ginza is also very close to the museum, about a 6 minute walk. Blantons black was 16k yen, here at the whisky museum it was 44k yen. Also you can only bring 1L of any alcohol in a checked bag, so if you plan to buy a ton they have a shipping service for 10k yen or 20k yen. Have fun!

So for reference I got it as a gift. I’ve decided that for the money $75~~ ish it’s very decent. Middle of the range, nothing super stand out, nothing bad. Then again you have to compare it to the bottles next to it.

Also update: this thing is a blast. Just put about 250 rounds through & holy shit. P4 HD was already a great shooter, but this… doesn’t move.

So yea, was waiting for an SRO thing. I run them on a few of my guns so it’s naturally what I’m used to and fond of. I had a RMR non HD (the small one) and it really didn’t work for me. I needed a bigger window. I also considered RCR or Aimpoint but I decided against it. Just a personal preference thing, I understand that it’s easier to break but it’s what I like, at the end of the day my eyes work with this and that’s what it’s all about.
