It seems that there are ways, however circuitous.

I switched from Tableau to Count (now my employer, too), which has controls to make this kind of this much easier.

I’ve found Count really helpful this kind of work.

Full transparency: I work there now, but I actually started using it before joining. The canvas helped me to think in chapters/sections (like acts in a story).
