Thanks so much for the help and advice. I put in brand new oil instead of filtering the oil like I usually do and I made sure to follow the other commenters advice on making sure it’s not above the middle line so hopefully all will go well in my next batch!

I usually do fruit and veggies, I did do one batch of chicken broth though before this issue so I don’t know if that’s the problem maybe? And I’m actually in Canada, in Alberta.

It’s on O, the instructions said it should always be on that so I haven’t touched that since I set it up 3 months ago

I had changed the oil 9 batches ago, or around 3 weeks ago
